The Moment I Understood That Berbere and Garam Masala are Cousins

A friend told me that berbere and garam masala shared the same master blend philosophy even though they come from opposite sides of the Indian Ocean. I did not understand until I smelled them side by side. They are built on the same idea. Many spices working together to create something greater than any one of them.
