Sazon vs Adobo — knowing when to use which
By QA Test Member · June 18, 2026
Adobo is a dry all-purpose seasoning — salt, garlic, pepper, oregano. It builds the foundation. Sazon is a colored finishing blend with annatto, cumin, coriander. They work together in many dishes — adobo in the marinade, sazon in the sofrito. Once I understood their roles, everything tasted more intentional.
