Explore →Every WOS contribution is evaluated against six standards before publication. These are not arbitrary rules — they are what makes a contribution a permanent knowledge asset rather than a piece of content.
Does this contribution go below the surface? Does it reveal something about the history, culture, or complexity of a flavor that most people don't know?
Is every fact verifiable? Are cultural origins credited? Is historical context accurate?
Is every tradition approached with appropriate humility, accuracy, and acknowledgment of complexity?
Can you articulate clearly what someone will feel confident doing after exploring this contribution?
Can you describe clearly where this contribution sends the explorer next? What does it open up?
Is this contribution searchable? Is it structured for the Flavor Guide and Discovery Graph? Will it be as valuable in five years as it is today?
